James R. Beach passed away peacefully at his home in Centennial, Colorado, April 12th, 2025. Jim was born on July 12, 1932 to Arthur and Bertha Beach in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. As a young boy, he, his mother and sister moved to Vallejo, California. He graduated from Vallejo High School in 1950 and joined the Air Force in1951. After his discharge he attended Vallejo Junior College and San Jose State College and was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. During his college days he was employed as a part-time photographer in Vallejo and for the San Jose Mercury News.
In April 1963 Jim married Gloria. They had two children, a daughter and a son. Jim was an office equipment salesman and worked for Olivetti and Silver Reed companies. He was rewarded with many trips to Europe and Asia. After his retirement he and Gloria continued their travels seeing over 50 different countries. Jim is survived by his wife, Gloria, daughter Dana (Shawn), son Jimmy, three grandsons, Tyler, Kent, Mika, granddaughter Liv, sister Carol (Jim), sister-in-law Bonnie, brother-in-law Robert (Dorthy) and many nieces and nephews.
