Charles “Chuck” Earl Heidrick, 81, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025. Born on June 6, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, Chuck led a life defined by creativity, craftsmanship, and quiet dedication to those he loved.
Chuck trained as a Radiologic Technologist at Metropolitan General Hospital in Cleveland and also held credentials as an industrial radiographer. He later retired from Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida, leaving behind a career marked by precision and professionalism.
A passionate auto racing fan and a gifted photographer, Chuck had an eye for detail and a deep appreciation for artistry. His creativity extended beyond hobbies—he was remarkably skilled in the restoration of historic homes, each project becoming a testament to his talent and artistic spirit.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Dianne; his children, Adam Heidrick (spouse Jennifer) and Emily Ersek (spouse Joseph); and his cherished grandchildren, Alexander Heidrick and Elizabeth Ersek. He is also survived by his brother Jack Heidrick (spouse Josephine), and many beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Heidrick (spouse Sandy).
Funeral arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center, Florida, in Chuck’s memory.
