Lance Mering
March 31st, 1959 - April 15th, 2025
Lance Mering, 66, of Wellington, CO passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025.
He was born on March 31, 1959 in Billings, MT to Joseph Mering and Esther Lottie Burgener. Lance always had a smile on his face. He brought joy to everyone around him. When he first met Linda, it was instantly apparent he was a loving and caring person, always treating her with dignity and respect. As a business partner he helped make The Riviera the place to be in Minot, ND. Together, they made the decision to be closer to their grandchildren and moved to Colorado. Lance was an avid golfer and enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren’s events.
Lance is survived by his loving partner Linda Hanson, brother Randy Mering and daughters Kimberly Graham (and family) and Tina Robertson (and family). He was a cherished father figure to Larry Eklund (Kelli) and Jeremy Eklund (Amy). Lance was a wonderful grandfather to Jake and Brady Eklund.
Lance was preceded in death by his sister Bev Krouse.
