Frances W. Fallaw
November 4th, 1936 - April 19th, 2025
In Loving Memory
Frances W. Fallaw, age 88, of Gaston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025. Born on November 4, 1936, in Neeses, South Carolina, Frances was the beloved daughter of Ben and Murtis Ott, who have since preceded her in death.
Frances lived a life dedicated to her family and community. She was married to Billy Byron Fallaw, Sr., who also preceded her in death, and together they created a loving home that will be remembered fondly by all who knew them. Frances was a nurturing mother to her sons, Ronnie B. Fallaw and his wife Cindy, and Billy B. Fallaw, Jr. and his wife Deborah. She was a cherished mother to Crystal Williamson and her husband, Kenny. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmy Ott and sister, Shirley Owens. Frances was also sadly preceded in death by her son, David Fallaw, and her dear sister, Shirley Huggins.
She took great pride in her role as grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Frances will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, as well as her generous spirit.
Frances dedicated her working years to Mt. Vernon Mills in Columbia, where she held the position of a weaver. Beyond her professional life, she was passionate about reading the Bible, singing, and spending quality time with her family. She found joy in working in her yard, nurturing her plants and flowers, which served as a reflection of her nurturing personality.
A visitation in her honor will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a graveside service at 11 AM, both at Harmony Baptist Church in Gaston, SC.
As we remember Frances W. Fallaw, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harmony Baptist Church in Mrs. Fallaw memory.
