Norma Bides Bito
August 23rd, 1945 - April 12th, 2025
Norma Bides Bito, 79, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 12, 2025 with her loving family and friends by her side.
Born on August 23, 1945, to Bernardina Micayabas and Manuel Bides in Abra, Ilocos Sur, Norma, also known as "Bating," lived a life marked by love, perseverance, and faith. She was the beloved wife of Isabelo Bito and a devoted mother to Joselito Jurolan, Ildebrando Jurolan, Genevieve Jurolan-Labadan, Michael Luke Jurolan, and the late Bernardino Jurolan, whose memory remained forever in her heart.
Norma was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a joyful great-grandmother to 2 great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into loving and supporting each of them.
Known for her strength and determination, Norma fought a good fight almost throughout her life. She was a hard-working woman, never one to complain, always showing up with quiet grace and incredible resilience. May it be a talented hairdresser or at home nurturing her family, she gave her best in all she did.
Norma also had a beautiful and creative soul. She loved to travel the world, embracing new experiences with wonder and enthusiasm. She found joy in creativity - dancing, singing, knitting, and playing music. She had a special gift for music and enjoyed playing the piano, guitar, and mandolin, filling her home with melody and warmth.
Norma was admired not just for her sweet and caring nature, but for her inner strength and work ethic. She was a woman who faced life's challenges head-on, always guided by her deep love for God and her family.

We Entrusted Norma Bito's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
