Rodney Elmon Tillotson, 85, of Englewood CO, passed away of natural causes on April 12, 2025.

 

Rod was born on August 18, 1939 to Bayard J Tillotson and Ester Tillotson at Denver General Hospital, Denver, CO

 

He graduated from Englewood High School in 1957, and after various occupations he became a Fireman for the Denver Fire Department on July 1, 1969 retiring January 3, 1997.

 

Rod won several tournament awards for pool and bowling. He was a member of the Eagles Club, Elks Club and VFW of Englewood CO.

 

He is survived by his spouse Ruby Braun, his brothers Larry Tillotson, Gary Leffler and sisters Cindy Lake and Carol Gallagher. He leaves behind his children Kim Tillotson, Allen Tillotson, Chris Tillotson, Brett Braun, LaRinda Braun, Alex Braun and Debbie Ann Braun.

He was blessed to have 8 Grand Children and 19 Great Grandchildren.

 

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on April 25, 2025 at 4:00pm at the Englewood Eagles Club, located at 3790 S. Jason St. Englewood CO.
