Nora Josephine (Jo) Meyers, Age 98

February 20th, 1927 – April 21st, 2025

Nora Josephine Meyers, Age 98, of Maplewood, MN, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on April 21st, 2025. Beloved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend. Married to William F. Meyers for 67 years and 10 months. She retired from nursing in 1984 after 24 years. Lover of cake making, baking, sewing, knitting, books, and card making. She cherished her family and many friends at card club, TOPS, Red Hats, Sweet Adelines, the Gibbs Farm, and Toy Shelf of North St. Paul. Known as the “Card Lady”, she made thousands of beautiful hand-made cards for family and friends.

Preceded in death by beloved husband William F. Meyers; parents William and Nora Buck; brother Jack and infant brother; sons James and John Meyers; daughters-in-law Cheri, Michele, and Donna Meyers. Survived by sister Billie Jean; sons William (Cheryl), Richard, Larry (Carolyn), Stephen, and Darryl; daughter Mary (James) Sirian; daughter-in-law Denise Meyers; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; many friends, and faithful dog Mia.
