Margaret Glenn passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 7, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1950, in Boise, Idaho, where she spent much of her life surrounded by the people, pets, and places she loved.

She grew up on Bacon Drive and later moved with her family to the Warm Springs neighborhood, where she formed close, lifelong friendships. From playing kick the can to sliding down laundry chutes and floating the irrigation ditch, Margaret’s childhood was full of imagination and joy. She learned to ski, rode horses, and shared countless adventures with friends who remained dear to her throughout her life.

Margaret had a lifelong love for animals, especially her Scottish Terrier, Winston, who was often by her side on walks through the Boise foothills.

Friends remember her as a “spark plug”—bright, funny, and full of energy. She was deeply kind and stayed connected to those she cared about, even as life took them in different directions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcia and Royce B. Glenn (Beezer), and her brother, Michael Glenn. She is survived by her niece, Emily Tucker of Lafayette, California; her nephew, Todd Glenn of Davis, California; and her grandniece and grandnephews, Amelia, Charlie, and Donny.

Margaret is deeply missed and remembered with great love by her family and friends.

A gathering to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Idaho Humane Society.

Family and friends are invited to share memories and messages at www.summersfuneral.com.
