Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel - Payette
George Grover
November 12th, 1940 - April 19th, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce, George Grover, age 84, of New Plymouth, Idaho, has passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday April 19th, after a lengthy hospital stay. Born on November 12, 1940, in Emmitt Idaho, to Floyd and Edith Grover. George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many in the community. In high school, George attended New Plymouth high and excelled in sports such as football and basketball. Having spent most of his life in Idaho, George liked to go shooting, hunting and fishing, but most of all he liked to teach his loved ones how to share in the adventures and his love of the outdoors. A roofing laborer by trade and a family man by choice, George was a simple man with a simple life who loved everyone around him. George will join his wife Yvonne in eternity and will be missed everyday by his loved ones. Services for George will be held at the Shaffer Jensen Memorial Chapel in Payette, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 4:00 pm, followed by a dinner in New Plymouth, at the VFW hall. The family asks that you please attend and share any memories you have of George.
