Jay Joseph Authier, 73, passed away April 21, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1952 in Holyoke to the late Herman and Jane (Janik) Authier. He was a graduate of Granby High School and previously worked as a kitchen assistant at Holyoke Medical Center. He loved fishing, going to tag sales, walking around town, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and tinkering with mechanics.Besides his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his sister Linda Johann and her husband Richard, and his brother Alan Authier. He is survived by his brother Leonard "Jake" Authier and his wife Sherri; nephews, Matthew Johann and David Authier; and niece, Erin Authier-Lohr. Services are being held privately.
