Beers and Story - South Hadley
Beatrice E. Paré
June 24th, 1941 - April 20th, 2025
In Loving Memory
Beatrice E. Paré, age 83, a lifelong resident of Chicopee, was called safely home on April 20, 2025. She was born on June 24, 1941, and graduated from Chicopee High School. Beatrice’s time to shine was in raising her family and cherishing the moments spent helping to care for her young grandchildren, all while enjoying an active social life. Her hobbies included fashion, shopping, home décor, ceramics, gathering with friends, sharing coffee with the neighborhood moms, and dancing – especially doing the jitterbug with her brother. As her children grew older, she took pleasure in working as a courier for Willimansett Nursing Homes, a job she truly enjoyed, and later as a receptionist for local businesses.
She was predeceased by her parents, Camille and Germaine (Provost) Descheneaux.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her siblings Raymond Descheneaux and Doris Breault; her children Candace Roy (Michael), Lyle Paré (Michele), Ronald Paré, Jr. (Joan Domina), and Jill Remillard (André); grandchildren Derek Doray, Amanda Rand (Jared), Michael Paré (Sarah), Alyssa Paré, Kaitlin Pelletier (Kevin), Andre Remillard (Brittany), Lyle Paré, Jr., and Caroline Paré; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also shared a special and deeply cherished bond with several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Heartfelt thanks to some special staff at Regalcare Holyoke and New England Hospice.
Services are being held privately at the convenience of her family. Beers & Story has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association by visiting www.donorservices.alz.org
