With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Barbara Fournier announces her peaceful passing on April 23, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born on July 25, 1933, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Barbara was the beloved daughter of Lillian (née Raffel) Packer and Claude Walter Anderson. A proud Wisconsinite through and through, Barbara spent her life building a legacy grounded in family, kindness, and unwavering love.

On May 7, 1955, she married the love of her life, Raymond Fournier. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, devotion, and shared dreams. Barbara spent her career at Holsum Foods (now Ventura Foods), where her hard work and caring spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. After retiring, she continued to share her talents and dedication while working at the Waukesha Freeman.

Barbara’s greatest joy came from the family she and Raymond raised. She was a devoted and loving mother to her five children, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished nothing more than being surrounded by her loved ones—celebrating holidays, gathering for birthdays, soaking up the sunshine on the patio, and cheering from the sidelines at her great-grandchildren’s sporting events. Her home was always filled with warmth, her heart always open.

Barbara is survived by her five children: Terry, Randy (Jill), Jeff (Marianne), Greg (Karin), and Lori (Dean); her nine grandchildren: Brad, Lindsay, Amanda, Megan, Colton, Jacey, Jessica, Heather, and Jason; and sixteen beloved great-grandchildren: Emily, Autumn, Raymond, Bradley Jr., Bryce, Kinsley, Mackenzie, Kylie, Jaxon, Cayden, Harper, Weston, Walker, Grayson, Everett, and Evelyn.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Fournier; her parents, Lillian and Claude; and her great-granddaughter, Mirra.

Services to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, located at 237 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue until the start of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Barbara will be laid to rest beside Raymond at Prairie Home Cemetery in a Private Family Burial.

Barbara’s love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a true matriarch—steadfast, selfless, and full of grace. Though she will be deeply missed, the light she brought to this world will continue to shine through the generations she leaves behind
