Gloria Jean Coffelt
September 23rd, 1947 - April 27th, 2025
Gloria Jean Coffelt, 77, of Louisville, and loving wife of Gary Dean Coffelt passed on to be with the Lord on April 27, 2025, at Richwood Nursing Home in LaGrange, Kentucky. She was born to the late James Dewaine Hines and Dorothy Mae West on September 23, 1947, in Danville, Kentucky. Gloria was a faithful Christian who served as a minister and evangelist in America and internationally.
In addition to her devoted husband of 25 years, Gloria is survived by three sons, Scott Pierce, Jeff (Jennifer) Pierce, and Anthony (Ashley) “Tony” Sears; five grandchildren: Jeff & Jennifer’s children: Jake (Kayla) Pierce and Jensen Pierce and Tony and Ashley’s children: Austin, Chase, and Aubrey Sears; and brother Tom Hines. Besides her birth parents, she was preceded in death by her dear stepmother Euna Fugate Hines.
Gloria’s professional accomplishments in serving the Lord are many. One notable accomplishment was founding God’s Glorious Grace Ministries of Lexington. She also served the Lord faithfully as a minister, pastor, and evangelist in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Hawaii, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, and St. Petersburg, Russia.
Celebration of life services are scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing: celebration of life service at 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life gathering until 5:00 p.m. The celebration of life service will be officiated by Rev. Steve Pearson of the Church of the Savior, Nicholasville. Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, 601 E. Brannon Rd., Nicholasville, KY 40356.
