Gloria M. Guzman Cardenas, age 87, of North St. Paul, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1938, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the beloved daughter of Francisco Guzman and Juana M. Diaz Martinez.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Gloria never stopped honoring the memory of her son, Michael, who preceded her in death. Gloriais survived by her children, Mark (Malinda) and MaryBeth (Tim Wright) Cardenas and her cherished granddaughters, Stephanie and Kayla Cardenas (Jeremy Pastir).
Gloria loved the simple joys of life. She found peace in gardening, reading, and enjoying her morning coffee. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit were felt deeply by those around her. She was proud to call North St. Paul her home and was deeply loved by family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral service held at 11:00 a.m. at Sandberg Funeral Home in North St. Paul.
Burial will follow in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
