Donna Mary Conway

Donna Mary Conway, 84, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend peacefully passed away on April 25, 2025 at Gulfside Hospice, Zephyrhills, Florida, after a three year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She is survived by two daughters, Denise Mercado and Debra Guidry (Keith). Grandchildren, Desiree Lima (Rick), Geoffrey Guidry (Zoë), Nicolas Mercado, Genna Ellis (Dexter), Heather Piccitto, and José Mercado, Jr and two loving Great Grandchildren Georgia Guidry, Daisy Ellis. Donna is also survived by three lifelong friends, Jimmy Peel, Pat Malone, and Marguerite Hudson. 

Donna worked for thirty years as a Production Supervisor at Honeywell. In retirement, Donna enjoyed traveling to many places with friends, as well as visiting family out of state. After enjoying retirement for a couple of years, she took a position as a nanny for the Kauchick family, Tristan, five and a half years old, and Quintin, newborn. She was their nanny for fifteen years and she considered them as grandchildren. 

Donna enjoyed gardening, growing orchids, weekly dinner dates with friends and everything cats! 

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Dade City Health & Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care and concern for our mother. 

Also, Thank You to all who helped care for our Mother while she was at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills. 

The Visitation will be Saturday, May 3rd, at 3:00 PM and Memorial Service to Honor her life at 4:00 PM. at Loyless Funeral Homes, 5310 Land O’ Lakes Boulevard, Land O’ Lakes, Florida, 34639.
