Mr. Alex Franklin Bowman, 60, of Walkertown passed away on April 29, 2025 under the care of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born in Forsyth County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Alex and Shirley (Pack) Bowman.

He enjoyed spending his time fishing, whether that be deep sea fishing or freshwater fishing. He also enjoyed forestry and was skilled with the chainsaw. He loved his family and will be deeply missed.

Alex is survived by his niece, Jayne Cox (Bryan); his great-nephew, Anthony Cox; and his former sister-in-law, Lottie Jane Beamon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Jean Bowman, Rickie Ahern Bowman and Catherine Bowman.
