It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanette C. Lambert, who left this world on April 29, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on June 18, 1940, in Pocahontas, Virginia to A.J. and Hazel Allen.

Jeanette touched the lives of many through her kindness and unwavering spirit. Jeanette's years were marked by a commitment to her family and church, and throughout her life, she exhibited a passion for kindness and giving.  She and her husband Jerry spent countless hours as members of Southside Baptist Church in volunteering their time to the church children's nursery, hosting senior luncheons, various singing traveling groups and also missionaries in their home.  She herself also gave her time in serving as a missionary in Panama. Her warmth and openness forged deep connections with family, friends, and even strangers who experienced her gentle nature. When Jeanette and her husband weren't volunteering their time with the church, they enjoyed following their son and grandsons on baseball adventures and taking cruises together, visiting Alaska, the Caribbean and New England. She was a loving and dedicated figure in her family, whose selfless actions and wise guidance will be greatly missed. Jeanette leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lambert; son, Scott Lambert; grandsons, Cody and Gunnar Lambert; daughter-in-law, Regina Lambert; 5 sisters, Rona (Isaac) Moore, Sue (Pat) Brennan, Aldine (Kenny) Browning, Karen (Kurt) Pennington and Donna (Ron) Achille and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Hazel Allen; sister, Linda Herb and brother, Ronald Allen.

Jeanette's life will be celebrated by her family and friends in a ceremony that will reflect the grace and dignity she embodied throughout her life at Southside Baptist Church, 3911 W. Bay Ave., Tampa, FL 33616 on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11:00am.  She will be laid to rest following at Garden of Memories, Tampa.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hope Children's Home of Tampa, a charity close to Jeanette’s heart, ensuring that her legacy of compassion continues. As we remember Jeanette C. Lambert, we honor a remarkable woman whose impact will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished.
