Henry J. Fleischmann
March 8, 1941 - April 14, 2025
Henry lived and attended school in Tucson, AZ. Upon completion of High School, Henry enlisted in the Navy, where he was a proud service member of the USS Bausell until 1963.
After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Henry married the love of his life, Maria Lo Turco, in 1963 and they began their lives together by moving to Southern California and starting their family. Henry worked for over 30 years as an Engineer before moving back to Tucson in 1992. He was an active member of the Stanton and Tucson Italian Catholic Federation branches. Henry was a survivor of cancer, and a fighter of Parkinson’s disease for many years, however after a valiant effort, succumbed to his illness at home in Seal Beach, CA, while his son Jim held his hand and eased his transition. Henry is preceded in passing, and was met in Heaven by his son, Mark Fleischmann. He is survived by, and continuously loved by his wife of 61 years, Maria Fleischmann, his son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kim Fleischmann, his three grandchildren, Megan, Grace, and Ethan, his brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Pat Fleischmann, his brother-in-law John Lo Turco and the hundreds of dear friends he made during his short 84 years here. Henry will be loved and missed on this earth for decades by the lives he touched, and he no doubt is being rejoiced in Heaven for his devotion to the Lord.
For those who can make it, there will be a procession after mass to Holy Hope Cemetery for committal services. The services will be from 11:30 am – 11:45 am.
Thank you,
Jim F.
