Erlinda Delfina Gutierrez Stringfellow passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2025, at the age of 71, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by love, with her husband, Brian, and daughter, Maura, by her side.

 

Born on October 5, 1953, Erlinda was known for her warmth, creativity, and generous spirit. Her innate enthusiasm for the people and passions in her life was uplifting, and she embraced the world with a joyful heart, always eager to share what she loved.

 

She is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Maura; son-in-law, Mark; grandchildren, Henry and Louise; her twin sister, Betty; and many beloved family members and friends.

 

She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. While Erlinda leaves behind a space no one else can fill, her light lives on in the hearts she touched. 

 

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell, with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Road in Boise.
