Beverly Madonia
April 25th, 2025
Beverly Madonia, 77, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away on April 25, 2025.
Beverly Joan (Sowalski~Wilsey) Madonia was born in Albany, New York, on October 03, 1947. She was the 11th child born to Howard and Evelyn Sowalski and the last survivor. She married Charles H. Wilsey (Jr. / Junior) on October 20, 1963. She had two children, Charles W. Wilsey (Chuckie) and Karen M. Wilsey. Beverly worked for the state of New York for over 20 years in multiple locations.
Following a divorce from Charles H. Wilsey in 1986, she married Gabriel Madonia on April 29, 1995, and remained with him, until he passed away on January 23, 1999.
All 10 of her siblings have passed before her… Louise/John (Sowalski) Callaway, Chet/Vivian Sowalski, Art Sowalski, Adeline/William (Sowalski) Ridner, Mildred/Bill (Sowalski) Creamer, Gus / Anne Sowalski, Anna (Sowalski) Orsano, Helene/Bobbie (Sowalski) Webber, Marion/Art (Sowalski) Haughton, Billy/Carol Sowalski.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Chuckie) W. Wilsey, his wife Lynn A. Wilsey and her daughter, Karen M. Wilsey. Her grandchildren, Alicia Crider, Deziree Crider and Ryan McAllister. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and many more.
Beverly was a lover of shopping, bargains, purses, shoes, and dancing. She remained a teenager at heart through her years! She cherished memories of family time, camping, and crazy life stories. We are reminded of one story, when her husband (Jr.) called and told her to take down the wall. From a previous discussion, she recruited her son and his friend (Micheal Reles) to take the wall down. When Jr. got home, he was beside himself to find, everything was cleaned up, but he soon realized that she had knocked down the wrong wall!
This is one of MANY stories that shall be told for years to come. She was one of a kind, her fingernails and hair were always in place. You never knew what she was going to say or do.
Many Blessings Bev/Mom RIP
