William "Bill" Allen Walker
January 20th, 1950 - April 30th, 2025
William (Bill) Allen Walker, 75, husband of Donna Walker, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. He was born in Jessamine County on January 20, 1950 to the late John Nate Walker and Mary Frances Walker Stevenson but grew up in Winchester and lived in Versailles Kentucky.
Bill was an Army veteran and worked for Brittany Farms as a night watchman and foaling expert and always took pride in his work. Bill could almost always be found in his buildin’, listening to old country music, tinkering with anything he could find and drinking his Old Fitzgerald and Mt. Dew. He loved hunting, fishing, telling old stories, no matter how many times he already told you, and spending time with his beloved family at all the many cookouts and fish fry’s he loved to host. There was nothing Bill loved more than his Wife, Donna Walker, whom he was wed to for 56 years and whom he created a beautiful family with. They went on to have 3 children, those of which he is survived by: his daughters, Christy Drury and Angela Ellis (Richard) and his son, Tim Walker; his grandchildren, James Michael Drury (Ashley), Amanda Gayle Reese (David), Emma Quesenberry (Jason), and Kayla Bowles; and his 10 great grandchildren.
We ask that you come to celebrate Bill’s life, tell old stories and just come as you are. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Rd, Frankfort.
