Mrs. Elaine Marie Shambley, 80, of Kernersville passed away on May 3, 2025 under the care of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Mary (Winner) Butler and wife of Maurice Shambley.
Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Maurice Shambley; her children, Lisa Shambley (Mark Kruthers); and her sisters, Janet Butler and Pam Bohannon (Robert).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Shambley and her sister, Elizabeth Kreiser.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Mt. Gur Cemetery, 1050 Cemetery St, Kernersville, NC 27284 on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Medi Hospice, 1007 Lexington Ave., Thomasville NC 27360.
