Elaine M. Mullarkey
September 23rd, 1941 - May 1st, 2025
Our dear sister, Elaine Mullarkey, formerly of West Deptford, NJ passed away on May 1, 2025. She was 84 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, Elaine was a life-long resident of Woodbury and West Deptford until recently relocating to Stroudsburg, PA.
Elaine worked for Penn Linens, located in Woodbury as an Office Manager before retirement. Elaine and her husband, Patrick, were avid travelers. Among the places they’ve been, it was Ireland they fell in love with, returning 13 times!
Elaine had a sense of humor, and her laughter was contagious. She was referred to as “Aunt Laney” to her nieces and nephews, whom she adored spending time.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Anna (McCloskey) Ronneburger, and husband Patrick Mullarkey.
Elaine is survived by her siblings, Sister Maryann Ronneburger O.P., Marguerite Lee, Jane Ronneburger, Frances McCloskey and William Ronneburger; she is also survived by her nieces and nephews, many extended family and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 10:00am at Infant Jesus Parish, St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, located at 3rd and Beech St., Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at the church. Interment will follow in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown.

McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
