Shirley Faye Brown walked into the arms of Jesus April 25, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 21, 1946, in Hobart, Oklahoma.

Raised on a farm in Oklahoma, Shirley lived her life with simplicity and grace. Family was always at the heart of her world, and she had an abundance of love to share with everyone around her. Despite enduring profound personal losses—including the passing of her parents she is survived by 3 sons, 3 siblings, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren—Shirley remained a source of strength and warmth to those who knew her.

Throughout her life, Shirley held various jobs, but she often spoke most fondly of her time as a caregiver for older adults. Her compassionate nature and dedication left a lasting impression on those she cared for. She was known for her kind spirit and unwavering support as a mother, sister, and friend.

One of Shirley’s simple joys was breakfast—her favorite meal of the day. Even in her final days, she delighted in starting her mornings with a hearty meal, sometimes even enjoying two breakfasts.

Shirley Faye Brown will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those whose lives she touched.
