Becky Ann (Parker) Forsythe
July 24th, 1958 - April 30th, 2025
Becky Ann (Parker) Forsythe, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, in her hometown of Olympia, Washington. She was 66.
Born on July 24, 1958, in Olympia, WA, Becky spent her early years rooted in the community she loved. In 1992, she moved to Ventura, California with her husband and children. They spent three years there before moving to Acworth, GA where she stayed until 2011.
Becky was a natural caregiver—kind-hearted, nurturing, and endlessly generous. Whether she was raising her two daughters or offering a listening ear to a friend, Becky’s compassion shaped the lives of everyone around her.
Becky found joy in sewing, needlepoint, and gardening—arts she practiced with patience and love. Her handiwork brightened countless homes, and her garden was always a place of peace and renewal.
She is survived by her daughters, Meghann Surginer (Nathan Surginer) and Alysha Lee (Christopher Lee); her grandchildren, Smith and Kadyn; her sisters, Cathy Dalton (Maurice Dalton), Cindy Lindley (Jerome Lindley), Tammy Miatke (Bryon Miatke); her step-sister Cheryl Harper; her step-brother, Brian Wolfenburger (Autumn Wolfenburger); her step-mother Alice Parker, and her nephew, Garrett Elward. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Garrett; her mother Arnette Garrett; her brother-in-law, Kevin Harper; her father, Ray Parker, and her husband, Scott Forsythe.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor at the East Olympia Fire Hall on May 31, 2025 at 2pm. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate the legacy of love Becky leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
