All-States Cremation - Centennial
Thomas Williamson
1938 - 2025
T. Eddy Williamson, 86, of Thornton, CO passed from this life on May 4, 2025. He was born June 22, 1938 in Midway, PA to Edward and Sarah (Sawhill) Williamson. He was married for 67 years to his wife Connie (Twist) Williamson. His two sons Randy Williamson and Ricky Williamson of Thornton, CO survive him as well as his grandchildren Derrick (Sara) Day of Omaha, NE and Emily Williamson of Denver, CO. Judy (Williamson) Cook, sister, and three nephews David, Scott, and Brian Cook also survive him. He was blessed with the arrival of his great granddaughter Annabelle Day in 2023.
He helped lead his Midway High School football team to win the WPIAL State Championship in 1957. He carried many fond memories of those days. Eddy was an avid sports fan throughout his life, following baseball, football, hockey, and NASCAR. He rooted for the home teams of each place that he lived whether Pittsburgh, PA, Nokomis, FL, or Denver, CO. A few of his closest friends played for the NFL and they remained lifelong friends.
Eddy was employed by Union Electric Steel in Burgettstown, PA for 36 years before his first retirement in January 1999. He and Connie then retired to Florida where he began his “fun career” working on the Calusa Lakes Golf Course in Nokomis, FL until his next retirement at age 80. He then retired to Thornton, CO.
Eddy loved making new friends wherever he resided. In his latter years he loved sitting on his porch talking with neighbors who would stop by for daily visits and gab vests.
He and his wife loved travelling and were fortunate enough to tour most of the US, the Caribbean, and Europe. They especially loved cruising.
A celebration to honor his life will be held in his community in Thornton, CO in July.
