It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne Christine Roy, who left us peacefully on May 4, 2025, in Haines City, Florida. Born on August 4, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, Anne was a beloved daughter, sister, spouse, mother, and grandmother, whose love and strength touched the lives of everyone she met.

A woman of exceptional resilience and bravery, Anne faced life's challenges with a fierce spirit and an unyielding dedication to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jon Roy, and her cherished children: Kelly (Jeremy) Cox, James (Christina) Torre, and Sherry (Ramses Deceus) Torre. Anne was also a proud grandmother to Joanna (Joseph) Celentino and Nico Russo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Monteleone and Rosalie Monteleone (Militello), and her sister, Paula Monteleone. Anne also leaves behind her siblings: Sam Monteleone, Mary (Daniel) MacArthur, James (Mary) Monteleone, and Laura Monteleone, who will lovingly remember her bold and caring nature.

Anne will be remembered for her unwavering love, her courage in the face of adversity, and her devoted spirit. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who are forever grateful for the time they shared with her. As we come together to cherish her spirit, we will hold tight to the lessons of strength and love that she imparted to us all.
