In Loving Memory of Robert PesqueiraSeptember 23, 1936 – April 19, 2025Robert Pesqueira, age 88, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.Born on September 23, 1936, in Tucson, Arizona, Robert was known for his warm, gentle smile, deep love for his family, and his hardworking work ethic. He worked for many years as a Computer Operator Supervisor at Pima Community College, where he was admired for his dedication and integrity.Above all, Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved golfing, running, and gardening, and he could often be found working outside on his home. Rarely seen sitting still, he lived an active life, always moving with purpose and care.He is survived by his children: Yvette (John) Pliett, Roberta (Shawn) Leo, Leandra (Brandon) Richie, and Felicia (Jeff) Messervier; grandchildren: Kylee Pesqueira, Tyler Leo, Madison Elie, and Alexandra Lee, Preston Richie ; and great-grandchildren: Sienna Pesqueira, Zolana Elie, Aaliyah Thompson, and Zavier Elie. He is also survived by his siblings: Alex Pesqueira, Angela Anaya, Hector Pesqueira, and Ernie Pesqueira.Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-four years, Phyllis Pesqueira (Aguirre); his parents, Louis and Margaret Pesqueira; and his siblings, Sylvia Pesqueira and Louis Pesqueira.A celebration of his life was held while he was still with us, in May of 2024—a small and loving family gathering filled with joy and shared memories.Robert’s presence will be deeply missed, but his love and legacy will forever live on in all of us. He will always be remembered, never forgotten.
