Jane Verna Keacher

Age 101, of Englewood, FL passed away on April 29, 2025 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Louis (Lou). Parents Conrad and Jane (Hunzinger) Fritz. Two sisters Rose Goodman, Margie Stebbings, brother Gene Fritz. Brother-in-laws Joseph Goodman, Guernsey Stebbings and sister-in-law Kay Fritz. Two nephews, Vince Goodman and Robert Brick.

Survivors include her daughter Carol Ann (George), Carabin, son William George (Barbara Ann) Keacher. Three grandchildren, Stacey Keacher (Michael Strelic), George Lee (Jane) Carabin and Leslie-Ann (Brian) Lasko. Four great granddaughters, Alena and Ashley Carabin, Alyssa and Addison Lasko. Also, nieces and nephews.

Jane was a long-distance telephone operator for Bell Telephone. She also worked for Home Health and Beall’s Department Store in Florida. She loved to bake and sew. Was a member of Christ Methodist Church for over 40 years. She was an active member of the Methodist Church Creative Workshop and Englewood Methodist Women.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Englewood Methodist Church.
