Alexander Brady Smith
May 31st, 1958 - April 26th, 2025
Alexander Brady Smith “Alec” was born on May 31, 1958 and raised in Hamilton, Scotland. After moving to the US, Alec traveled around quite a bit, living in Santa Fe, West Palm Beach and finally settling in Charleston. Alec and his son Scott worked as a great team in their small construction business. They loved golf and the Glasgow Rangers.
Sadly, Scott passed away six months ago. Alec was recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer and passed very quickly with his son Mark and sisters Lynne and Myra at his side.
Alec and Scott were quite a fun duo with their quirky Scottish humor and great accent to go with it. Alec will be missed by so many. May he and Scott rest in peace together.
