Lorita Proctor Reinhart
April 25th, 1931 - May 6th, 2025
Lorita Proctor Reinhart, 94, of Belleview, Florida, passed away on May 06, 2025, at Cate's House in Ocala, Fla.
Lorita was born in Clearwater, Florida with a twin Juanita to Oscar and Minnie Proctor on April 25, 1931.
She was a graduate from Summerfield High School in Summerfield, Florida. While in school Lorita was a cheerleader and the center on her school basketball team. She worked for Leo Weichens Realty and South Ocala Animal Hospital as an office secretary before retiring. Lorita enjoyed sports, Florida State Seminoles and Nascar were her favorites. When her children were young, Lorita loved to play Horse Basketball with them and neighborhood kids. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. She rooted for FSU and the Earnhardts,
While still in her 80's, Lorita played Horse Basketball with two of her great grandchildren. She never met a person she didn't like and always found a connection with them. Lorita had so much love to give and always spread as much as she could.
Lorita was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Reinhart, parents Oscar and Minnie Proctor, brothers Eugene and Bill, sisters Juanita and Kathryn, a daughter in law Rosemary and a grandson Jimmy (Swarthout) Keefe.
Lorita is survived by three sons Daniel (Pam), David (Sandy), Dennis (Donna) and her daughter Denise, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, two cousins Patricia and Marion. She was Nana, Aunt and Mena to many.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Heirs Baxley Funeral Home with Daniel McLucas and David McLucas, officiating. Burial will be done at a later date.
The family of Lorita wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice of Marion County, Cates House. Lorita received wonderful loving care.
Our mother has left this earth; she is in Heaven. She has a new body. She can see and hear perfectly now! Glory be to God for his saving grace! Amen! Just imagine all her loved ones she is seeing again and Jesus. She has eternal life! Amen!
It's not goodbye mom; it's till we see you again. We will miss you on earth so much. But celebrate your homecoming. Thank you for all the memories and fun times, advise and love no matter the situation. Mom, we love you!!
