Sharry Swanson
April 17th, 1946 - April 29th, 2025
Sharry Swanson of Aurora, Colorado died peacefully on Tuesday April 29th 2025. She was born to Thomas and Hilda (Gerhke) Griffin on April 17, 1946.
She attended Greeley Central High School and after school she married Walter Swanson, he later passed away.
Sharry was a bright sole. She loved to laugh with her friends and family. In earlier years she would love to go out with her friends and niece Jody. They would dance all night long. Over the years she kept in touch with many of her friends from high school and developed new ones where she lived in Aurora. She would spend hours on the phone talking to her sister Marlys and niece Ashley. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter Kristin (Rob) Reed, son Michael, 2 granddaughters, her sister Marlys Mitchell. Her sweet dog Zoey and friends Jane, Anne, Patti, Jackie, Sherry and so many others.
Sharry is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Walter Swanson, sister Shirley Mason, Brothers Tom and Darrell Griffin.
