In Loving Memory
Evelyn A. Williams (Livingston), wife of the late Jimmy Williams, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 9th 2025 at the age of 85. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the Late John Lewis and Ola Mae Ellisor Livingston.
Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife that devoted her life to family, community, and service. She was a graduate of Columbia High School and afterwards worked until retirement at CEEUS while raising her family. She was a survivor of breast cancer that created the strong, independent, woman and fighter that she became. She was a devout Christian and active member of Beulah Methodist Church in Sandy Run, SC. Throughout this life she was a dedicated follower of Christ with unwavering faith.
Evelyn was a shining light in her community and brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. Her journey on earth was filled with love, kindness, and compassion. She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Vernon Livingston, Cecil Livingston; sister, Margaret Derrick; along with her parents. Surviving are her children, Terri Blanton (Mike), Brad Williams (Sandra), and Jeff Williams (Ginger); Grandchildren, Chaz Williams (Savannah), Lindsay Colvin (Josh), Garrett Williams (Maggie), Coley Williams, and Deanna Williams (Clinton); Great Grandchildren, Carson and Blake Williams, Charlotte and Palmer Colvin.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 12:00pm at Beulah Methodist Church in Sandy Run. Burial service will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
We continue to remember Evelyn for the love and warmth she brought to our family and community. We rejoice with comfort knowing that she has entered her heavenly home and is resting peacefully.
