Delorce Jane Barger Noe, 100, of Eaton, Colorado passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at Life Care Center of Greeley, Colorado.

She was born on September 4, 1924, to John and Ida Morgan near Bradleyville, Missouri in Taney County.  She grew up and lived in that area until she was 17 years old and then moved with family to a farm west of Butler, Missouri where she graduated high school. Afterward, she attended Central Business College in Kansas City, Missouri.

Delorce worked as a clerk typist for the U.S. Army Depot in Kansas City until the Depot closed after the end of WWII.

Shortly thereafter, she met Marion Barger, and after 10 months of dating, they were married on April 6, 1946.

On April 6, 1947, Dolorce and Marion both prayed and received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Shortly thereafter, her husband answered the called to be in the full-time Gospel Ministry, and together they served the Lord in that capacity for the next 25 years.

Dolorce and her husband had four children: John Leslie, Vickie Louise, Robert Marion, and Paul Del.

Dolorce worked as a seamstress and started an upholstery shop in her house so she could be home as their children were growing up.

On March 1, 1972, Marion passed away and went home to be with the Lord.

Dolorce moved to Missouri to take care of her aging father and later began working as a CNA at Fairacres Manor Nursing Home in Greeley, Colorado.

In 1979, she met and married Samuel E. Noe, and moved to Spanaway, Washington. They lived there for 22 years, joined the “Good Sam” Travel Club. They did a lot of traveling and camping with the club enjoying their retirement years. Samuel passed away and went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2001.

Dolorce moved to Greeley, Colorado to be near her children. She loved to sew, crochet, and make quilts for her family. Her last count, she had made over 100 quilts. She loved and enjoyed her 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She had the blessed opportunity to babysit some of her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Dolorce loved the Lord Jesus Christ and knew that He loved her. She was thankful for His grace and strength to help her keep on keeping on through life. She was a beloved member of Greeley Baptist Church. Two of her favorite Scriptures are John 3:16 and 2 Timothy 2:15.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Dolorce is survived by her children, Vickie (Robert) Lopez, and Paul (Annie) Barger, Margie Barger; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and siblings Harold Morgan and Jeanette Cushard.
