Willis Russell Spears, Jr.
April 12th, 1939 - May 9th, 2025
Willis Russell Spears Jr., 86, husband of Eula McIntosh Spears, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Nicholasville. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 12, 1939, to the late Willis Sr. and Frances Humphrey Spears. He was retired from the United States Postal Service and a member of Woodland Christian Church in Lexington.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Susan (Charlie) Hughes, of Lexington, his son, Russell (Lori) Spears, of Nicholasville, grandchildren, Grace Hughes and Luke Hughes, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Fritz and Patricia Perkins, and his brother, William Lynn Spears.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday May 24, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mr. Spears to the Alzheimer's Association and Woodland Christian Church. www.clarklegacycenter.com
