Jeanne Ann Cole
February 21st, 1928 - May 8th, 2025
Jeanne Ann Cole, 97, wife of the late Thomas H. Cole of Johnson City, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Jeanne was a spirited and beloved mother of 11 children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A native of Johnson City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Forrest Woodley and Viola Hawley Woodley.
Jeanne worked at Bay Pines Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, and retired in 1990. She was a devoted member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Largo, FL, and was active in her community as both a volunteer and participant.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas Cole of St. Petersburg, FL; Jack Cole (Kathy) of Raleigh, NC; James Cole (Beverly) of Homosassa Springs, FL; and Forrest Cole (Johanna) of Chesterfield, VA; and by her daughters: Linda Johnson (Keith) of Westminster, SC; Patricia Cole of New Port Richey, FL; Candace Emde of Perryville, MO; Catherine Spiller of Spring Hill, FL; and Margaret Jett of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her daughters, Robyn Vieczorek and Cheryl Cole, and her grandson, Benjamin Vieczorek.
