With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He left this world surrounded by the love of his family, the people who meant everything to him.

Dan lived his life with a deep appreciation for the simple joys—a well-restored classic trucks, the crack of a bat at Dodger Stadium, and the soul-stirring beauty of music. Whether cruising down the open road in a vintage 1955 Ford Panel Truck dedicated to patriotism, cheering for his beloved Dodgers, or playing his favorite songs that spoke straight to the heart, Dan found happiness in the things that connected him to the people and memories he cherished most.

But above all, his greatest pride was his family. He was a man of unwavering love, wisdom, and quiet strength—a rock to those who knew him. His presence was a steady comfort, his laughter contagious, and his stories unforgettable.

Though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit remains in every song that plays, every classic Ford truck that rolls by, and every home game under the bright lights of Dodger Stadium. His legacy of love, kindness, and joy lives on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dan is survived by daughter Denise Ruiz and Son Dane Cangro, who will continue to honor his memory with every road trip, every ballgame, and every moment spent together.
