Lillian Mayberry Lewey – 91, Vinton, Virginia, died Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Lillian was born in Campbell County, Virginia, but lived most of her life in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. She was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Grace Daniel Mayberry.
She retired from Banker Life and Casualty Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Lewey, Jr., a brother, Herman Mayberry, his sisters, Mildred Apple Sutton, Toree Shoffner Morris, Thelma Barber, and Ileen Brooks, and a granddaughter, Ashley Jarvis.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela L. Jarvis (husband Harold) and a granddaughter, Olivia Jarvis, all of Vinton, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 20th at 1:00PM at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. Ohenry Blvd, Greensboro, North Carolina, with Rev. Harold Jarvis officiating.
Services have been entrusted to Pierce-Jefferson Funeral and Cremation Services – Lambeth Chapel, Greensboro, NC.
