Norman "Buddy" Rollins
July 21st, 1950 - May 6th, 2025
Norman “Buddy” RollinsIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman “Buddy” Rollins, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully after a life filled with love, kindness, and quiet strength.
Buddy was a lifelong educator, dedicating 38 years to teaching and mentoring countless students whose lives he touched deeply. His classroom was not only a place of learning but a space of encouragement, laughter, and growth.
He is survived by his devoted son Jeff Rollins, cherished daughter-in-law Angie, and loving granddaughter Tyler, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his older brother, John Rollins. Buddy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Susan Rollins, and his son, Danny, both of whom he missed dearly every day.
Known for his boundless generosity, Buddy greeted everyone with a warm smile and a kind word. He had a gift for making people feel seen and appreciated, and his gentle humor and enormous heart left a lasting impression on all who met him.
Buddy loved the outdoors, finding peace and joy in nature, and he had an uncanny ability to lift the spirits of those around him. Whether sharing a story, lending a hand, or simply offering his presence, he made the world a kinder, brighter place.
He will be terribly missed by all who knew him, but the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and former students. His legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and unwavering love.
