Martha L. Sherrow
May 31st, 1955 - May 13th, 2025
Martha L. Sherrow, 69, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1955 to the late Alex Walker Sr. and Lois Delander Miller Hazelwood in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Martha retired from the State of Kentucky in the Natural Resources Department and was a member of Peaks Mill Church. She had a love for her family and her caregivers.
Martha is survived by her sons, Sam Sherrow and Jason Sherrow, both of Frankfort; her sisters, Karen Sewell (Charlie), Frankfort and Wanda Spaeth (David), Owenton; her two grandchildren, Alex Sherrow and Jaden Sherrow; and her special companion, Hubert Floyd Sherrow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Mitchell; and her brother, A.W. Hazelwood.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Martha’s caregivers, Marsha, Heather, and Summer.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Peaks Mill Church Cemetery.
