Barbara Jo Brown of Loveland passed away peacefully on May 13th at age 86

She was born on July 28th' 1938 in Independence, Mo. and graduated from Van Horn High School in 1956. From a previous marriage had two sons, Mark (wife Ginny) Allen of Loveland and Michael (wife Laurie) Allen of Severance. Barbara had one brother Richard Shafer who proceeded her in death.

 

She married Franklin Dean Brown June 14th, 1968. They were married for 57 years. The family relocated to Loveland in 1970 and has lived in Colorado ever since. Barbara enjoyed her one granddaughter, four step-grandchildren, she also leaves behind two great-grandchildren.

 

Barbara worked for Hewlett-Packard for seven years and retired. She loved tole painting, antiques and collecting dishes. She was a wonderful cook and loved baking, enjoyed gardening and decorating. She was a long-time member of Resurrection Fellowship. She loved her church and her Lord and Savior Jesus.

 

Barbara was a sweet and warm-hearted woman with a sense of humor who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
