Patricia "Pat" Cunningham Jackson

Patricia Cunningham Jackson, 64 passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon May 11th, 2025 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Pat requested there be no service or memorial in her honor.

Pat was born on November 30th, 1960 in St. Louis, MO. She grew up in Silver Spring, MD, and enjoyed her family’s summer house in Rehoboth Beach, DE. In 1978 Pat’s family moved to Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended Denison University in Ohio and upon graduating moved to the Philadelphia area where she met her husband Dan. Pat and Dan moved back to Hilton Head Island in 1988 where they raised their three sons and remained for the rest of her life.

Pat was preceded in death by her father William C. Cunningham of Amelia Island, FL, and her mother Elizabeth Y. Rowley of Hilton Head Island, SC. She is survived by her husband Dan Jackson, and three sons, Daniel Jackson currently living on the Big Island of Hawai’i, Charlie Jackson of Charleston, SC, and Benjamin Jackson currently living in Charleston, SC. Pat also is survived by her sisters Catherine C. Stangroom of Osceola, WI, Elizabeth C. Kinney of Bald Head Island, NC, and her brother William C. Cunningham Jr. of Pagosa Springs, CO.

Pat was an integral part of operating the family retail businesses of Harbour Town Crafts and Harbour Town Toys on Hilton Head Island as well as Lynes On Design on the Island.

She loved walking on the beach with her Golden Retrievers, attending to her Meyer Lemon trees, and traveling to the island of St. John, USVI, Napa Valley, CA, and Charleston, SC. Pat also treasured her time with her loving mother and doing puzzles.
