James Dean Wessels

James Dean Wessels, known to many a Puggs, aged 60 years, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on May 13, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin to Erwin and Barbara (Severson) Wessels on April 15, 1965.  James lived a life filled with love, laughter and kindness. He was known for his warm smile, gentle demeanor and unwavering generosity. 

James Dean Wessels worked as a Millwright for many years, where he was respected for his dedication and hard work.  He approached every task with diligence and integrity, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working with him.  James worked for Western Sugar in Ft Morgan for 15 years. 

In his free time, James enjoyed playing and spending time with his loving wife, his children and grandchildren, making everlasting memories.  He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles, carpentry and building his Star Wars Legos.

James Dean Wessels may have left this world, but his love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

James is survived by his wife; Teryl Wessels, his children; Danielle (Ryan) Canham, Tyler (Mary) Wessels, his many grandchildren, his mother; Barbara Wessels, his sisters and many extended friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father; Erwin Wessels, baby sister; Dawn Victoria, grandparents Raymond and Dorothy (Figi) Severson, Dean and Jane Wessels.
