Grace Baptist Barefield, 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 10, 2025. Grace was born on March 13, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Terrence and Grace Kenny and moved to Florida in 1949. She is survived by her daughter Andrea B. Dixon(Steven), son Mark J. Baptist(Karen), four grandchildren, Luke Dixon(Alanna), Lacy Smith(Joel), Kyle Baptist(Lena), and Brennan Battaglia along with nine great-grandchildren, James, Elijah, Isaac, Abram, Naomi, Karsyn, Joey, Evan and Titus. A memorial service will be held on May 24, 2025, 11:00 AM, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 9695 SW 110th St., Ocala, FL. 34481. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital @st.jude.org.
