"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me." ~ Isaiah 6:8

Sherman E. Adams, age 84 of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2025.  Sherman was born on September 3, 1940, in Carter County, TN to Hubert and Beulah Adams.  Sherman married Ms. Brenda Anderson and after 47 years of a beautiful life together and raising a family, she preceded him in death on August 2, 2014.

Sherman enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time on the lake.  He enjoyed meeting people, and he made friends with everyone he met.

Sherman was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Brenda Adams; and one brother, Harold Adams.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Angela Farmer and husband, John; two grandchildren, Alexander Farmer, and Zachary Farmer; and a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Holston View Cemetery with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating.  Sherman’s family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.  Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 pm.
