Alexis "Lexi" Martines Blendu

Alexis “Lexi” Blendu, 37 of Phoenix Arizona, graced this world with her vibrant spirit from August 17, 1987 until her ultimately passing in Mesa Arizona, on May 1, 2025 Surrounded by a loving family and countless friends. Lexi will be fondly remembered for her indomitable “I don't give a f***” attitude and for her infectious laughter, which often had her laughing until she peed. She embraced life with unyielding enthusiasm and a dedication to living each day to the fullest.

Born to Amy Pickens-Krumpols and Robert Martines Blendu, Lexi spent her formative years in Phoenix, becoming a loving mother to Reanna Marie Blendu Musselman. Her sisters, Deziree Martinez Witt and Taylor Ryan Pickens, cherished her as both a sister and friend. Lexi's life was defined by pivotal moments, including becoming a mother and most notably, her journey to sobriety. Through her battle and triumph over addiction, she not only redefined her own life but also became a beacon of hope and strength for hundreds of women seeking their own path to recovery. Her passion for the recovery world was undeniable, often saying “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. As a proud member of the Crossroads community, she dedicated her heart and soul to the cause, both in the office and far beyond its walls. 

Her love for all things Chucky, singing (despite often being off key), and her impressive collection of tennis shoes were just a few of her cherished hobbies. Lexi's spirit is encapsulated in her favorite sayings: “Sober AF,"  Hoes,” and “AND THATS OK.”  

Lexis celebration of life will take place at CROSSROADS, 244 N Extension Rd, Mesa AZ 85201, on Saturday May 24th at 6:00 p.m to honor the irrepressible spirit and the lives she touched. Philippians 4:13 resonates deeply as a mantra for Lexi's life: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Her unique expressions and favorite sayings such as "MERP"," “SOBER AF,” “SOBER HOES” and “AND THATS FINE” echo within us, leaving a legacy of resilience, humor, and unwavering love. In Lexi's own words and actions, we are reminded to #LIVELIKEBLENDU and live with the fearless passion of a “ride or die” spirit. Lexi, you will be deeply missed and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
