John "Johnny" Andrew Cettin
June 26th, 1930 - May 13th, 2025
Johnny ( John Andrew ) Cettin, born June 26, 1930, died on May 13, 2025. Living in Loveland, CO and formerly of Bobtown, PA where he had retired from the Shannopin Mine and was a member of UMWA Local 6159. People will also remember that he was a drummer and played with lots of local bands.
His last years were spent living in Colorado close to his grandson and great-grandchildren and which included music recitals, musicals, plays, and sports. He loved the mountains spending hours on his swing reading and looking at the mountains.
Preceded in death was his wife of 62 years, Bobbi and his youngest son Danny.
Survivors include daughters Patti & George Hess, of Loveland, CO. Aimee & Michael Piatkowski of Trenton, MI and son Joe & Patti Cettin of Bluefield, VA. Grandchildren include Michael & Suzi Hess, Ben Hess, Ian Wolfe, and John & Terri Cettin. Great grandchildren include Abby & Derek DeVaughn, Mia Hess, Nathan Hess, Toby Hess, Elliott Hess, & Griffin Hess. He also loved his nieces, nephews and extended family and kept up with them on Facebook - especially the Bobtown news.
A celebration of life and burial services are yet to be determined.
