Ronald "Ron Allen" Eugene Allen
July 16th, 1936 - April 30th, 2025
Your essence lives on in the hearts of those you touched.
Ronald Eugene Allen was born July 16, 1936 in Seattle, WA to Esther Violet Allen. He passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025 at St. Peters Providence Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his children Cheryl Frable (Scott) Tenino, WA, Carolyn Blalock (Darrell) Prescott Valley, AZ, Jeffrey Allen (Rosa) Tacoma, WA. His grandchildren: Sara Conine, Tenino, WA, Hunter Blalock (Diana), Rincon, GA, Jordan Allen, Tacoma, WA and great granddaughter Diana Rose Blalock, Rincon Georgia.
Also, his love Nancy Griggs who shared the last 7 years of his life with him and they had so much fun and never had a fight! At the age of 83 he found he had a ½ brother Gary Puckett and ½ sister Sylvia Coverdale and got to spend time with them. He grew up in the Pacific NW and lived here his entire life. He was a hard worker who always had at least 1 but often several jobs and had many talents. He eventually became a photographer for the Washington State Patrol and then his private Photography Studio, Ron Allen Photography in Olympia. He took pictures of so many local events and was a staff photographer at the Puyallup Fair for 47 years.. Golfing, biking, walking & some fishing kept him active. His love of golf took him to become a steward at The Valley Golf Course. He loved playing poker and pool at the Elks club and was part of a group that played together for 50 years. He has been loved by many because of his infectious positive attitude and welcoming personality. He loved a good solid handshake, even on the day he passed. He had 30 years of retirement and enjoyed traveling and so much more. With a great sense of humor and happy nature, he had many friends for over 50 years. He accepted everyone unless they crossed him. Dad, you are already missed and I hope you get all the M&M's you can possibly eat.
