Danae Koulizakis
July 17th, 1934 - April 24th, 2025
Mrs. Danae Koulizakis of Arlington, Virginia, peacefully passed away Thursday evening April 24, 2025, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She is reunited with her husband Dr Evangelos Koulizakis, whom she missed so much.
Danae was a passionate member of the Greek-American community in Northern VA and a member of St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church for over 50 years. She loved to take trips to Greece, walk around her Arlington neighborhood and cook delicious Greek dishes for her family and friends.
She was a homemaker devoted to her family; her husband, her daughters, Angelina, Agnee, Athena, Nikki and Jeannie and a loving Yiayia to her 4 grandchildren; Alex, Nick, Angelo and Leo.
Danae was also an amazing hostess, entertainer and cook. Her wit and dolmades will be missed!
A 40 Day Memorial will be celebrated at St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church Virginia on Sunday June 1. All friends are invited to join us.
