Danny Dale Nance – MCLEANSVILLE, NC – 68, went peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children. 

 

He was born in Guilford County, North Carolina on January 23, 1957, to the late Delmer C. Nance and Audrey V. Carter Nance.  He was also preceded in death by his special aunt and uncle, Frank and Evelyn Rudd, and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and his fur-baby “Red Bird”. 

 

He enjoyed deer hunting, bass fishing, growing a garden, making anything and everything out of wood, and cutting grass.  He also enjoyed lending a hand where needed and spending time with family.  Danny worked for Guilford County Schools for 25 years before retiring in 2019. 

 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie Nance; his children, Nikki “Bug” Kinney (husband Wil) and Travis “Bucky” Nance (wife Kristen); and fur-baby “Kirby”; grandchildren, Grayson, Will, Carter, Noah, Trevor, Ian, Colton, Caleb, and Kayleigh; great-grandchild, Ollie; and special cousins, Eddie, Randy and Tracy. 

 

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 23rd at 2:00PM at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O.Henry Boulevard, Greensboro, NC with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. 

 

In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made in honor of Danny directly to Freedom Baptist Church, 471 Stone Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320.
